I’m back with another exciting CBD review – this time around I’m getting stuck into the Honey Heaven CBD Raw Honey and CBD oil range. Growing up in Hungary, Honey Heaven’s founder Silvia watched her mother use herbs and spices to treat common ailments. After moving to the UK Silvia launched Honey Heaven with the goal of bringing health and pleasure to people’s lives and so began to import honey from her homeland. The full Honey Heaven range uses natural and unprocessed ingredients inspired by Silvia’s mother using food as medicine. At Honey Heaven, you’ll find a wide range of raw organic honey, CBD oil, and even honey mead!

I was sent out 2 items from the Honey Heaven Range to try – the Organic 1500mg CBD Infused Honey and 1500mg Full Spectrum CBD Extract. I’ve always wanted to try CBD honey, we are big raw honey fans in this house and because of my love for CBD I can’t think of a better combo. With the new school term coming up it’s like disease central so I just know it will come in handy. Anyway, to find out what I thought of both products check out my review below. I’ll also be launching an Instagram giveaway on Thursday 25th August at 8pm so keep an eye out!
If you’d like to purchase any of the mentioned items in my review (or anything else) from Honey Heaven remember to use the code ‘HONEY10’ for 10% off.
This product is hands down my favourite and there’s probably no guessing why. Dreamy organic Acacia honey, sourced from Hungary, infused with 2.5ml of 1500mg organic CBD extract – I mean talk about the ultimate health product or what?! I was sooooo excited to try this out and I’m happy to report that I was not disappointed in the slightest.
The honey was so creamy and sweet but not overpoweringly sweet like the awful processed honey you buy in the supermarket. I genuinely can’t think of anything more delicious than raw honey. The CBD extract was quite mild in taste and nowhere near as overpowering as the full spectrum oil I was sent. It was super palatable and easy to eat straight from the spoon. I can imagine this being gorgeous on some toast with some butter or just in a good old fashioned lemon and honey drink when you’re not quite feeling yourself.
I would highly recommend Honey Heaven’s CBD Infused Honey to literally anyone and everyone. It’s definitely delicious and it’s more fun to take than an oil or capsule.
Raw honey is rich in nutrients, antioxidants, antibacterial, antimicrobial, great for healing wounds, and may even help keep your heart healthy and lower cholesterol levels. It’s even great when applied to your skin topically and I regularly mask with it! It has so many health benefits and it’s something I always have in my cupboard as not only a medicine but a better alternative to processed sugars.
CBD helps to balance out your endocannabinoid system which is responsible for keeping all of your body’s systems in what is known as homeostasis. If that doesn’t make much sense to you don’t worry, in a nutshell, it will help to keep all of your body’s physiological functions in a natural balance. It also helps to promote better mood and sleep, reduce inflammation, treat pain, support your overall wellness and even improve your skin, especially when applied topically.
So, it’s not hard to see why you would combine the 2 ingredients together. But how’s best to use it? Well, dosage wise you only have to take 1-2 teaspoons a day to reap its amazing benefits. But, CBD honey is perfect on toast, in smoothies, hot chocolates, and teas but it’s also great to use as a facial mask or cleanser – especially if you have acne-prone skin. I’m keen to make a raw cake with it so watch this space!

This 15% concentration of full-spectrum CBD is suspended in virgin hemp oil. Each drop contains a whopping 8.1mg of cannabidiol extract which has been made using the supercritical CO2 extraction method. This results in a higher content of CBD and cannabinoids than other extraction methods although proves to be costly which is reflective the final cost of the product. Honey Heaven have lab reports available for each CBD product on the landing page.
Lab reports are so important as you need to know that you’re getting a high-quality product free from THC. Honey Heaven’s products have less than 0.2% of the psychoactive constituent THC and the lab reports display the exact amount of CBD and other useful cannabinoids such as; CBDA, CBG, CBGA and many more. I always recommend full spectrum CBD products to my readers because the terpenes and other cannabinoids within them work in synergy with your body. The overall effects are much more beneficial to your health than just a CBD isolate.
Overall I was really impressed with how quickly the product kicked in, the availability of lab reports, and the overall quality of the product itself. If you’re looking for a super kick-ass CBD oil that will definitely numb a sore throat or soothe your aches and pains Honey Heaven’s Full Spectrum CBD Oils are for you.
So, now you know you’re getting the good stuff, let’s look at the taste of the product. As it uses hemp oil as the carrier oil it’s a much stronger tasting product than most I’ve tasted. I’m not super keen on hemp oil as a carrier, MCT is is my favourite. The taste of the oil is very overpowering and personally, rather than administering orally, I’d rather add it to savoury dishes. It’s quite spicy at the back of the throat and heavily medicinal. This is a matter of preference and at the end of the day, I can’t criticise the efficacy of the product as its effects were fairly fast-acting.
Hemp seed oil also doesn’t absorb as well as MCT oil into the body and so CBD bioavailability will be slightly less. Having said that I didn’t notice much difference in absorption rate on a personal level and hemp seed oil is great for reducing inflammation and has an amazing essential fatty acid profile so all is not lost at all.
I’m super into micro-dosing at the moment so the 10% concentration would have worked better for me as this one left me feeling a little sleepy quite quickly, which I’m not gonna lie is awesome for bedtime! But, every person’s endocannabinoid system is different and choosing a product that will work for you is trial and error. I found when I first started to take CBD years ago I needed a much higher dose whereas now I break up a 10mg dose throughout the day. As a rule of thumb, I always say start low and go slow.

If you’re looking for a super kick-ass CBD oil that will definitely numb a sore throat or soothe your aches and pains Honey Heaven’s Full Spectrum CBD Oils are for you. They’re available in 1000mg-5000mg (10%-50%) concentrations and there are even 2 oils for animals; 500mg Pet Oil and 1000mg Farm Animals Oil. (I’ll definitely be picking up the pet one for my dawgs!)
