This Cellulite Busting Mandarin, Vanilla, and Coffee Sugar Scrub has to be my most favourite beauty product that I have hand crafted so far! Not only does it smell like something you will want to shovel into your greedy little mouth but it actually REALLY REALLY WORKS! As soon as I scrubbed up my pins with this scrub my minging cellulite almost vanished within a matter of minutes. I just couldn’t believe my eyes! Of course the effects are only temporary and for any real long term results I would recommend using this scrub 3-5 times a week!
This scrub will not only help your cellulite but it will slough away dead skin cells, unclog blocked pores, fight acne, and also leave it gorgeously smooth and hydrated!
To use this all you need to do is stand in your bath or shower, scrub all over, wait 5 minutes, and rinse – hey presto! Even though this scrub leaves my skin moisturised I can’t help but slather on my Grapefruit and Mandarin Body Butter for a super pampering experience!
One little note to all of my pregnant mamas out there – please, please, please consult with your midwife or doctor before using any essential oils and coffee topically! It is always best to err on the side of caution!

Coconut Sugar
Ok there are no real skin benefits here other than sugar is great for gently buffing your skin, sloughing off those pesky dead skin cells whilst unclogging your pores!
Coffee Grounds
So other than being a fantastic exfoliator the high caffeine content in coffee grounds will stimulate your blood flow tightening your skin and targeting that naughty cellulite too!
Ground Almonds
Again another great exfoliator of the gentle kind – it will slough away your dead skin but also moisturise whilst doing so!
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil won’t block your pores and it will moisturise it like no tomorrow! It also carries great antifungal, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties – phew!
Cacao Butter
Ok so not only does cacao butter smell divine (and gives this scrub a chocolatey edge) but it diminishes the look of stretch marks and battles against the ageing process as it is high in antioxidants!
Olive Oil
Olive oil maximises your exfoliating potential and is packed full of antioxidants to help fight the ageing process!
Mandarin Essential Oil
Mandarin essential oil minimises the appearance of scars and stretch marks whilst maintaining your skin’s moisture balance – pretty clever huh? It also has some pretty mood uplifting properties too!
Vanilla Essential Oil
Vanilla is packed full of B vitamins and antioxidants so it is great for fighting the ageing process. It is also heavily antibacterial so will fight away any cheeky acne!
Cellulite Busting Mandarin, Vanilla, and Coffee Sugar Scrub
Yields: Roughly enough to fill a 380ml Mason Jar
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut sugar
1/2 cup fresh coffee grounds
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/2 tsp mandarin essential oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract organic essential oil
4 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
4 tbsp cacao butter
4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Method:
- Add your coconut sugar, fresh coffee grounds, mandarin essential oil, and vanilla extract to your mason jar. Give it a good stir until everything is evenly mixed in.
- Over a bain-marie melt your cacao butter and coconut oil on low heat until fully melted. Stir in your olive oil and pour over your dry ingredients in your jar.
- Mix until fully incorporated. This can be stored in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, for up to 3 months.
