*** COMPETITION NOW CLOSED – SORRY! ***
After reviewing the fabulous Mooncup I thought that it would be a great idea to host a giveaway so that one lucky winner can also reap the benefits.
The Mooncup is a reusable soft, silicone menstrual cup that works by forming a gentle vacuum seal, collecting menstrual blood rather than absorbing it. They’re safer, greener, and cheaper than tampons. Mooncup is made from medical grade silicone, not latex, and contains no bleaches, BPA, dyes or toxins or bleaches so it’s suitable for women with latex allergies and/or sensitive skin.
To find out what I thought of the Mooncup, read my review here.

23rd March 2016 at 7:18 pmWish I’d had one when I was younger – only used one just before the menopause – but so much easier – no leaks and quick and easy to clean x

25th March 2016 at 9:32 pmI’ve used one in the past and it was great, means no worrying about forgetting to put more products in your bag when going out and about. Sadly my current one seems to keep leaking so I think it’s time for a new one! I’ve been really missing it the last few months.

26th March 2016 at 10:54 amI switched in 2004 after buying one at Glastonbury Festival and can’t recommend the Mooncup enough. If I won I’d like to gift it to my friend as she’s not convinced about taking the first step and worried that if she doesn’t get on with it then she would have wasted the money.

5th April 2016 at 1:01 pmI’ve actually already switched, and as one of the (many!) benefits of a Mooncup is that they last for years, if I’m lucky enough to win, I’m going to give it to one of my friends. I’m on the verge of convincing her to give it a go, and winning one for her should be enough to encourage her to switch! I’ve only been using a Mooncup for 5 months, and I’m already head over heels in love with it. Just thinking back to those tampons sucking out every drop of moisture from inside me – YUCK! – makes me shudder.

6th April 2016 at 11:15 amWhile I’ve used cloth nappy for my children I have not yet ventured into reusable products for myself. My friends have highly recommended the moon up and I’ve just read they help if you have a latex allergy. I definitely think they are an all round winner!

6th April 2016 at 11:26 pmSounds interesting. I would like to try the Mooncup. I have found a report on the FDA website that there are only traceable amount of Dioxin on tampons which isn’t harmful. Here is the link. You will probably have to copy and paste it.
